Amiga HistoryWhen I got my first Amiga A500, it felt like a "real" computer. Not only did it play games, but it could do so much more. Art, Music, and anything you could imagine was possible. "Best B4 Software Public Domain Library" was the name of the Amiga PD Library, that my nephew and I used to run in the early nineties. It ceased trading around 1995. In those days all PD disks were on floppy disks, you would have needed a second mortgage for a CD-Writer! We had, at our peak, around 1,000 titles covering just about everything from games to knitting patterns! I do still have a back-ups of most of the library on DVD disc and the catalogue disks on floppy disk. I once had an interview for writing for CU Amiga magazine. It was at the, then fairly new Canary Wharf London. I didn't get the job, but I have good memories of meeting Tony Horgan and Andrew Korn.

What Does The Hobby Mean To Me?I have made a lot of good friends since joining NAG. Helping people with software and hardware problems is something I enjoy doing. I also repair retro machines as part of my business.
ProjectsI'm always building another Amiga from spare parts! and my Checkmate A1200 is an on going project. I'd really like to get into programing, maybe with Blitz Basic?
