Established in 1976, I trained as an apprentice to my father (John Sell), from 2007 in all aspects of piano tuning, repairs. regulation, restoration and stringing.

Pre-purchase inspection
Seen a piano on Gumtree/eBay etc. that looks interesting? I’ve seen a great many that unfortunately end up being un-tunable.
I provide a pre-purchase inspection service to give you peace of mind, knowing that what you’re buying is worth having. If it is ok with the seller, I will conduct an inspection to check that the instrument is in sound condition, and can be used and tuned as normal. This service costs just £15. I must stress that you need to have permission from the seller for me to visit to conduct this assessment.
